We met yesterday for our first yoga of the new year Jo. The fire had been burning for hours against a backdrop of frost and the chatter was eager to continue in its excitement of togetherness but in that moment of deepening stillness there was an invite to witness what word arose in the silence of our hearts. Each of us touched a newness in the word that came. Mine for this year is โ€œ Astonishment.โ€ I share it here with you today because you are part of this yoga community and our words weave together, making new threads for us all to look at with wonder. Happy new year! Such a beautiful read. Thankyou ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿงก

Thank you Lisa- Iโ€™m glad you enjoyed reading it- I wasnโ€™t sure whether youโ€™d want linking, so I appreciate your reaching out!

And thank you for including me in the weaving x

It sounds a wonderful reunion and Iโ€™m glad youโ€™ve been able to keep the yurt fires going.

Astonishment / astonishing- a word that promises a lot!

I love your words Jo.

My words for this year are groundedness and trust. I can already feel them working their magic as I stayed close to home over the holidays and kept things simple, resting more than usual and feeling myself recalibrate after an intensely busy and ungrounding year.

Happy new year to you and I look forward to continuing to follow your Cayman adventures ๐Ÿ˜

Thank you Vicki.

They are good words! Sounds like a perfectly restful Christmas break. Ungrounding , but what a year with your adventurous Italian wedding!
