That's great that the UK has a day of remembrance. Here we seem to act as if COVID never happened, yet I know many people struggling with long COVID. I'm so curious about the overlaps with autoimmune disease, as the experiences seem remarkably similar. I hope it's sparking some new research into the whole arena of chronic, poorly understood health issues 🙏

There is a lot of research but my understanding is that there are many different presentations and I’m not sure they’re always distinguishing between them yet. It seems the Covid virus enters a site / organ and can have wildly different effects on each persons body. The big numbers are awful but mean it’s not possible to ignore or dismiss LC as hysteria or somatic complaints, as they did for years with ME/ cfs and autoimmune conditions. Sadly still a lot of muddle about how psychological approaches can help and mind / body dualism, that can sometimes ignore the very real physical damage caused by Covid.
